1. TICKETS SALES
Forró Mare Nostrum is organised by José Luis García Ruiz, trading as Forró Mare Nostrum ("the Organiser").
Tickets are sold using the Ticket Tailor ticketing platform. Ticket Tailor provides the technical platform used to process ticket orders; the contract for attendance at Forró Mare Nostrum is between the ticket purchaser and the Organiser.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
Tickets are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or where otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions.
As tickets relate to a leisure activity taking place on specific dates, the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance contracts does not apply.
Tickets are transferable. If you cannot attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another person by contacting info@forromarenostrum.com.
Ticket transfers are permitted until 48 hours before the start of the event. The ticket holder is responsible for providing accurate information for the replacement attendee.
The Organiser is not responsible for problems resulting from inaccurate information, fraudulent transfers or unauthorised resale of tickets.
Refunds resulting from cancellation, postponement or material changes to the event are governed by the Event Changes and Cancellation section below.
3. PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
Photography and video recording may take place during Forró Mare Nostrum for documentation and promotional purposes, including publication on our website and social media channels.
Attendees may appear incidentally in photographs or recordings of the event, including crowd scenes and general event footage.
Where an attendee is the identifiable primary subject of promotional photography or video and consent is required by applicable law, appropriate consent will be obtained.
Attendees who have concerns regarding the use of their image may contact us at info@forromarenostrum.com.
4. EVENT CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
The Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event programme, schedule, artists, teachers, DJs, venues or other event arrangements where necessary.
Minor programme changes, including substitutions of individual artists, teachers or DJs, will not normally entitle ticket holders to a refund.
If the event is cancelled by the Organiser, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund in accordance with applicable law.
If the event is postponed or materially changed, the Organiser will inform ticket holders as soon as reasonably possible and provide any remedies required under applicable law.
The Organiser is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by attendees, including independently booked travel or accommodation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
5. LIABILITY
Participation in Forró Mare Nostrum, including dance workshops, social dancing and other physical activities, involves a degree of inherent physical risk. Attendees are responsible for assessing their own ability to participate and should act within their personal limits.
The Organiser will take reasonable measures to provide a safe environment. However, the Organiser cannot be held responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from an attendee's own actions, failure to follow reasonable safety instructions, the actions of other attendees, or circumstances outside the Organiser's reasonable control.
Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property except where such loss or damage results from circumstances for which the Organiser is legally responsible.
The Organiser is not responsible for travel, accommodation, transportation or other services purchased independently by attendees from third-party providers.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable Spanish law, including applicable consumer protection rights.
6. CODE OF CONDUCT AND RIGHT OF ADMISSION
Forró Mare Nostrum is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all attendees, artists, teachers, staff and volunteers.
Harassment, sexual harassment, unwanted sexual contact, violence, threats, intimidation, discrimination, aggressive behaviour or any other conduct that compromises the safety, dignity or reasonable enjoyment of others will not be tolerated.
Attendees must respect the personal boundaries and consent of others at all times, including during dances, workshops and social activities.
Any attendee who experiences or witnesses inappropriate behaviour is encouraged to report it as soon as possible. Reports can be made directly to the Organiser, event staff, volunteers, artists or teachers, or by email at info@forromarenostrum.com.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person from the event where the Organiser reasonably considers that their behaviour violates these Terms, poses a risk to others, significantly disrupts the event or is otherwise inappropriate for the event environment.
Depending on the circumstances, the Organiser may also contact venue security or the relevant authorities.
Attendees removed from the event as a result of their own misconduct will not be entitled to a refund, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
The right of admission will always be exercised in accordance with applicable law and will not be applied in a discriminatory or arbitrary manner.
